Pet's info: Dog | Australian Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 5 months old | 40 lbs
My 5.5 month old Australian Shepherd has vomited 4x and pooped runny 5x in the last 2 hours. He has all of his vaccinations. He has been on the same food started by the breeder. He has had different food for the last 2 days and put back on his normal food this evening. He also sometimes sneaks the cat food. He is acting pretty normal and sleeping now. Do I need to take him to emergency or should I check him thru the night and call my vet in the morning if not better?

Hi. If he had all his vaccines, by your veterinarian, starting at 6 to 8 weeks, then every 3-4 weeks until 16 to 18 weeks old...then you can monitor. If the above isn't true, then parvo is a possibility, which can be serious. If he had parvo, he would feel/act pretty sick, so it is sounding a little less likely. You most likely can wait till the morning. Hope he feels better soon.
