My puppy's nails are dark at base, white at tips. Is this normal?

I am getting a new puppy. I met him today and noticed all his nails are dark at the base and white at the tips. Is this a problem or just his coloring? Pet's info: Dog | Boston Terrier | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 27 days old | 5 lbs

He looks adorable, this is just pigment within his nails and not a medical problem. He may have some nails that are all one color, and others that are black and white. Congratulations on getting your new pup!
