My kitten has a red, watery eye and discharge. What should I do?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | 2 months and 1 day old | 0.7716 lbs

My kitten is 2 months old and from 3 days I'm observing her and in these 3 days I've noticed that her one eye is smaller and red than the other one and some kind of liquid comes out of her one eye... This happens to her eyes everyday but not everytime... I've also taken her to a vet doctor but the doctor doesn't says anything but says that may some kind of thing had gone inside her eyes like nails or hairs... But it's not always common that these things will go inside her same eye and everyday..

Your kitten likely has an eye infection due to an infectious cat disease like feline herpes virus, which is very common. She would likely feel better with antibiotic eye drops and potentially some oral medications as well, depending on what is causing the eye infection. You can help keep the eye clean with a soft cloth soaked in warm water and gently clean the discharge from the corner of the eye. You may need to see a different vet if the one you visited did not have any advise or medications to offer to help Shunu feel better.
