My dog has been itching frequently throughout the day. Is it seasonal allergies or food allergies? She has had this problem before but I thought it was related to fleas because frontline wasn't working for her anymore. She's now on bravevto and has no fleas and is starting to itch again.. she has been on Zyrtec and Benadryl before which seemed to help her but she got better so I stopped it. She was also on natural balance venison and was doing well but I switched brands. Should I switch back? Pet's info: Dog | Cavalier King Charles Spaniel | Female | spayed | 4 years and 11 months old | 17 lbs

It does sound like Chloe has some allergies. Since she was doing well on her antihistamines and the venison food I would recommend getting her started back on those as soon as you can. She may have environmental allergies and/or food allergies, sometimes it is difficult to tell which.
