Puppy dewormed for roundworms. What to expect at follow-up vet visit?

Hi I just got my puppy tested for the 1st time and he had round worms the vet gave me deworming stuff for my puppy and I have another appointment next week it's been a week so they made the appointment 2 weeks apart does that mean when I go in he's going to be clear or does that mean he's gonna get checked and they are going to give me another dewormer in the 2nd appointment. Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | 1 month and 16 days old | 2 lbs

If you came to me, what I would do is have you bring in a fecal sample with you to the appointment. I would perform a fecal float and take a look under the microscope for evidence of any parasites. If I didn't see any, I would not prescribe a dewormer unless you were still reporting active diarrhea or a fat belly on Titan. Some vets do like to treat a minimum number of times, whiles others are a little more conservative. It all boils down to who you ask. Hope this helps.
