Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | spayed | 10 lbs
My bfs cat yesterday morning chewed off a lot of hair some skin on her lower back. We put some Neosporin on it but this isn't the first time she's chewed off hair. And we've noticed that her skin is really rough and dry, we use aloe shampoo but doesn't seem to help, we even put coconut oil on her skin. Still doesn't help. What can we do to soften her skin and make it non itchy?!

If the skin is itchy, there is a medical reason for it, usually either fleas, mites or an allergy. the cause should be identify and treated accordingly, i recommend taking her to the vet in order to have a professional diagnosis done.
