My puppy vomited after deworming. Is this a normal reaction?

Hi my puppy Gordon setter has vomited twice today shortly after being fed he's 12 weeks. I gave him puppy worming tablets yesterday. Pet's info: Dog | Gordon Setter | Male

It is likely a reaction to the dewormer. With worming medication, I always recommend using a product sold by your veterinarian rather than one purchased over the counter as some of the formulations available over the counter have more side effects. For puppies I like Drontal Plus (a combination of Pyrantel and Praziquantel). I would feed a bland diet of boiled chicken and rice for the next 2 days. If the vomiting continues today I would bring him in for an exam.
