My dog hasn't peed in 30 hours after surgery. What should I do?

My dog had gallstone surgery last Thursday morning. He did pee last friday evening but he doesnt pee for almost 30hrs now....

30 hours without urination, particularly in a small dog breed like a Shih-tzu, is approaching the point of an emergency. I would get Charlie to the vet as soon as possible to make sure that the bladder is not blocked and that the kidneys are fully functioning. Manual drainage of the bladder or passage of a urinary catheter might be required if the bladder is overly distended.
