Ibuprofen is toxic to dogs. It can cause severe stomach ulceration and kidney damage. Samantha may feel well now, but if her kidney function has been compromised she will start to feel worse in a few days. Please have her examined by your veterinarian today. Blood and urine samples can be collected and submitted to assess kidney function. Tell the vet exactly how much ibuprofen Samantha was given. It is never recommended to medicate a pet without the advice of your veterinarian.
