Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 9 months old | 10.8 lbs
My cat just threw up all of a sudden infront of her toilet. She's been doing okay and its the first time in a while that she vommited. She was just sitting infront of her toilet for about 5 seconds until I called out to her, after which she threw up big time. I wonder what could've caused that? Just a random sniff that she did not like?

Occasional vomiting in a cat is not terribly unusual, Cats can vomit for a variety of reasons include general gastrointestinal disturbance, foreign body, hairballs, stress, or a long list of serious illnesses. If this is just an isolated incident that is not followed by any more vomiting, I would simply withhold food for the next 12 hours, and then feed something very bland for the next day or so afterward. If the vomiting continues or you begin to see any other clinical signs of illness, I would get her to the veterinarian for an examination.
