How do I figure out my kitten's age using their teeth or weight?

The best way to determine a kitten's age is by their teeth or their weight. In a cat this young, I like to use weight to approximate age. Usually in the first three to four months of their life, you can estimate a healthy cat should weigh one pound per month of life. Kittens will begin getting some their adult teeth as early as 11 or 12 weeks of life, and usually have all of their adult teeth by five to seven months of age.
