Why is my playful dog suddenly lethargic and breathing heavily?

My dog is always playful. Today she hardly wants to be outside,heavy breathing,laying around not active. She's a shorkie and is always full of energy. Is something wrong? She drinks plenty of water,not too hot outside either. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 4 months and 6 days old | 8 lbs
