My puppy has mushy, smelly poop. Should I be worried or give meds?

Hi again my pup pooped not solid but mushy stool and stink and should i be worried and should i give him meds??

It is difficult to help just based on the little information and not being able to check him over. Something that could be given safely is a probiotic that you can buy over the counter, and it is very useful with mild gastroenteritis signs. In particular I like protexin prokolin , 15 ml, give two syringe graduations twice a day by mouth for 3-4 days provided buddy is still happy and bright and eating well. You could also offer a bland diet of chicken and rice for a few days, provided he is not intolerant to chicken !
