Your dog may have an upset tummy. These are typical signs of a gastrointestinal problem and you should have her examined by a veterinarian. You can try taking her off food for 12 hrs, then feed her boiled white rice with boiled boneless chicken in several small feeds and see if that improves her condition. Once she feels better slowly introduce her regular food again by replacing small parts of the rice and chicken with her food over a two days. If she deteriorates, starts vomiting, diarrhea or does not get better within three days, please take her to your vet for an exam.

Those are all signs of nausea. He might have eaten something spoiled that is causing this. withhold food for 12 hours then offer Murphy boiled boneless chicken and rice every 6 hours in small portions. if he is eating and not vomiting, continue with this diet for 2 days. After 2 days, you can put him back gradually on his normal food. If he starts vomiting or if the symptoms do not resolve, take him to the vet to get treatment.

Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! The symptoms you are describing are commonly associated with nausea or intestinal discomfort. This can be due to many conditions. However, bloat, a condition that occurs when the stomach fills with air can be a potentially life threatening cause. This occurs more commonly in large breed dogs with deeper chested configurations. If untreated, the condition can progress to torsion of the stomach and even death. I recommend having your dog seen by a vet as soon as possible to rule out a potentially dangerous condition. Your dog should be seen immediately if she collapses or you notice her retching without vomiting.

licking the air and eating grass are both signs of nausea and stomach upset, it might be a mild thing that will resolve within a few hours or it might escalate to vomiting, he he starts to throw up you will probably have to take him to the vet.
