Is there a way to stop my male cat from spraying without neutering?

Unfortunately, this is virtually impossible to do - spraying is a completely normal behavior for intact male cats, and is not very amenable to behavior modification. This is one of the main reasons that virtually all indoor male cats are neutered :) I'm afraid that you'll either have to live with the spraying, or have the neuter done.

    Many unneutered male cats spray in their house. This is normal behavior for them. I highly recommend neutering him to hopefully get him to stop. If the neutering is done too late it sometimes then becomes a permanent behavioral issues. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
