My dog keeps licking paws raw. Allergies, stress, or medical issue?

My 10 month border terrier I'd constantly worrying at his feet. The skin at the back is looking red and the hair is missing and thin from pad to part way up his leg. He's only been with me for 7 weeks..could it be stress or a medical issue. Pet's info: Dog | Border Terrier | Male | unneutered | 22 lbs

Hello. I am sorry to hear that Archie isn't doing well. What you are describing could either be stress, or more likely allergies. If there is redness and swelling I would suggest a visit to the vet to get medications to relieve his pain, and a check-up to see if it looks like allergies could be the cause, and medications for this.
