My dog's snout has a bleeding, licked lump. Could it be an abscess?

My dog has a scab like lump on his snout he keeps on licking it which causes it to bleed, it almost looks like an abscess but I'm not too sure. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 15 lbs

Since it is bleeding and he keeps licking the area, he should be examined by a vet to determine the cause. If it is an infection than he will need an antibiotic and possibly a corticosteroid to help treat. If the lesion does not heal with oral medications than your vet may need to biopsy to determine the exact cause.
