My dog has red, itchy ears. How can I clean them if he won't let me?

Mike has red and itchy ears. I cleaned it yesterday. It had become alright. Today again I tried to clean it. But my dog is not letting me.help?

How naughty of Mike to not let you clean his ears. I would suggest placing a muzzle in him to help facilitate his ear cleanings. Even if he isn't trying to nip at you, because the muzzle uses pressure points to release endorphins to make pets more tolerant. If this doesn't work then ask your local vet for help. We don't mind taking in pets to clean their ears. Your vet also may be able to prescribe a mild sedative for Mike to calm him down a little, so that he doesn't get so stressed out. Best of luck!
