2 year old tabby female cat having trouble hacking up what I believe is a hairball she's having a hard time with keeps dry heaving and nothing coming up what should I do it's been like 2 days. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 20 lbs

If it's not too bad, meaning she is not lethargic and eating as usual, buy a hairball paste and give it to her daily for 2 weeks. if it does not make any difference- take her to the vet to get it checked, it could also be asthma.
