Why is my senior dog panting fast, howling, and not eating?

I have an 11 year old pomeranian. She behaves strangely for the past 4 days. She is howling all of sudden and her heart beats so fast. Like she breathes 100 times per minute. Didn't eat properly today and panting so rapidly while sleeping. What am I supposed to do. Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Female | unspayed | 11 years and 7 months old

Hi there! That is a worry for sure! I wonder if she is having issues with her heart. Or, some sort of panic reaction? If this continues, I would suggest that you take her to see your vet, as she may need some medication to calm her, or some tests to find out if she is having heart issues.
