Poor pup! Watery stool is not normal, even on a soft food diet, so I would recommend taking your puppy to the vet tomorrow if possible for a check-up. He may have intestinal parasites, an intestinal infection, or some other problem causing the diarrhea. Your vet can do a fecal exam under the microscope if needed to help diagnose the problem and get him started on appropriate medication to treat it.

No that is concerning. If he's otherwise totally normal (good energy, good appetite, good weight gain), it could be something as simple as intestinal parasites. If he's struggling in any other ways, I would be concerned about a viral or bacterial infection. I'd recommend a vet visit for a general check up and fecal test.
