Biography
I have been fortunate in life that my profession is also my passion. I have devoted my life to helping and healing animals. My veterinary interests are end of life care, grief counseling and emergency medicine. I have been practicing veterinary medicine since graduation from vet school in 1999. I have worked primarily in small animal private practice ( dogs and cats!), but occasionally get out of the office to neuter a pig here and there. I love making housecalls, as I understand how seeing a patient in their own home can eliminate a lot of anxiety from my patient (and their owner!) I have owned my own very busy practice in upstate New York since 2010, working at times 24/7 so therefore have experience in all aspects of veterinary care, from emergency medicine, to surgery, to dentistry to behavioral problems. I pride myself on my patience and calm demeanor. My other interests are yoga, travel, cross country skiing and mountain biking. I have a special love of German Shepherds ( I have 2) and pugs ( I have 1).
