Cat vomiting white foam every morning after switching to new food?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed

Hello, My cat has been vomiting roughly every morning for the past week. About a month ago I changed her food to a recommended organic product but this vomiting hasn't occurred until recently. About 4 mornings of the past 7. She seems to really enjoy the food and actually eats all of her dry food unlike the last brand. But I'm worried because of the vomiting if there is something bothering her in the new food. The consistency is mostly a white foam with a little colored part. What should I do?

I would probably go back to the old food to see if the vomiting stops. Make a slow transition over 4 -5 days from the current food back to the old food. If she continue to vomit after the switch back then you probably need to take her in to see a vet.
