My dog's paws are red, moist, and he keeps licking. Is it infection?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 4 years and 5 months old

Can you please tell me is this bacterial infection or fungal infection? It’s between his paws & between fingers and also between thumb there’s reddish with moisture he also continue licking first he starting licking paws then few days after he started licking thumbs now his between thumb area is also red and moisture and this usually gets last time he had in February ? So what’s his permanent cure what disease he has and why so often he gets this ? Is it because he do urine and it fell on legs

Unfortunately, to make that diagnosis, your vet will need to swab his toes and make a slide to look under the microscope. They will be able to tell if bacteria or yeast is growing and then prescribe the appropriate medication. I would schedule an appointment. In the meantime, do not allow him to lick. He may need a cone to prevent getting at his toes.
