My dog has diarrhea after eating something. Should I feed or fast?

Hi My dad has watery diarrhoea after potentially eating stuff on a walk. This has only been today and have fed her a small amount of food. Should I keep feeding her the low fat food we have or should I withhold food completely ? Pet's info: Dog | Golden Labrador | Female | spayed | 5 years and 5 months old

Hopefully you meant your dog! I would pick up her food for a few hours, then offer a bland meal of boiled rice and chicken to help with any minor GI upset. If the diarrhea continues, she stops eating, or has new symptoms such as vomiting, lethargy, etc, a vet visit is best.
