Pet's info: Dog | Bichon Frise | Male | neutered | 6 months and 19 days old | 11 lbs
Is there a certain brand of flea and tick and heart worm medication that is best for my dog? Or are injectables more preferable? He’s currently on Nexgard and Heartgard. I just want to hear opinions and see other options.

Nexgard is an excellent choice for fleas and ticks, and is one of the products I recommend most frequently. I generally prefer Sentinel for heartworm prevention rather than Heartgard, as it covers a wider range of intestinal parasites and also seems to be more effective at preventing heartworm infection, especially in areas with lots of heartworm disease such as the southern/southeastern US.
