My senior boxer has been itching a lot and has skin irritation. No lesions but redness on his chest. Was wondering about supplements. I hear liquid Omega 3 is good. If so, would you recommend a brand? Pet's info: Dog | Boxer | Male | neutered | 11 years and 3 months old | 75 lbs

Omega 3 supplements are good at improving the barrier of the skin and will help with mild allergies. Oatmeal baths twice a week or a soothing shampoo like Dechra DermaLyte Shampoo will help as well. If it isn't getting better in a few days, though, you may want to call your vet for further advice.
