My dog has hard lumps. Do hard lumps always mean cancer for my pet?

Someone told me that if Brandi’s lumps are hard she has cancer. Any truth to this theory

Not really. Benign lumps can be firm or hard and not be cancerous (meaning metastatic/spreading). Some small hard lumps in the skin can actually be clogged oil ducts. I would recommend having Brandi examined by a vet. The only way to know what might be going on with a lump or bump is to obtain a needle sample or do a biopsy to examine it under a microscope.
