My cat's paw is injured and she's limping. Can I give her pain relief?

Hello, My cat came home with a little bruise (which is not so serious) on her soft paws, (it also began to dry) but she seems to be still in lot of pain and she is unable to walk properly. Is there any over the counter medication that I can give her or anything that I can apply on her paws to ease the pain? Thanks in advance. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 2 years and 6 months old

No, unfortunately, there is not any over the counter medications that are safe for cats. Most are actually toxic to them. It would be best if she could see a vet. The most likely cause for this type of injury you describe is an abscess (infection) so she will probably need antibiotics so she can heal properly.
