My dog was treated for tapeworm 10 days ago but she still has signs of the tapeworm. Is this normal? Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Female | unspayed | 4 months old | 7.5 lbs

Yes. This is why we recommend multiple dewormings. The dewormer only kills the parasite at certain stages. If all the worms present in her body are not in the same stage of their life cycle when you administer the dewormer the new worms can "hatch" and the dog is still infected. Remember, dogs get tapeworms by eating infected fleas (fleas that carry the tapeworm larvae) so you need to get the fleas under control as well. She could have also been re-infected since you gave the dewormer.
