Why is my dog's stool white? Is it due to his diet or something else?

My dog's faeces is white, rather than the usual dark brown. What is the possible reason? His diet consists of Kibble made with 100% lamb and some rice, I mix in a small amount of tinned food to soften the kibble - otherwise he will not eat them. Pet's info: Dog | Brussels Griffon | Male | neutered | 3 years old | 13 lbs

Some ingredients such as bone meal can cause white stool, however other issues such as problems with properly digesting/absorbing nutrients can also cause pale or chalky stools. I would bring Newton into your vet for a complete exam and bloodwork to check for these problems.
