My dog has suddenly lost her appetite ? What could be the problem? What can I do ? She is not eating and turns her nose away from her food dish. She used to have a healthy appetite.

There can be a number of causes for loss of appetite in dogs. Problems with the teeth or oral cavity can be a cause. Kidney or liver problems, endocrine or metabolic disorders such as diabetes, Addison's disease, thyroid disorders, or pancreatitis. Bacterial, viral, or parasitic infections can also be a possibility. I would recommend Faye sees her veterinarian very soon for an exam and perhaps blood work to help determine what is going on.
