My dog had a seizure, now she's lethargic, not eating, and shaking. What to do?

Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund (Miniature Smooth Haired) | Female | spayed | 18 lbs

My dog had a seizure the other night, second one in about 4 months. Last time she bounced back within an hour or so but this time she is not eating, sleeps all day and shakes. She moves very slow when I take her out, she doesn't bark or make a sound and doesnt eat. What are the options to help her?

Hello. Chloe needs to be evaluated by your veterinarian. Seizures can sometimes be caused by an underlying medical issue & most times this can be identified with blood work. If something is found, then the appropriate treatments or medications can correct whatever is causing her to be unwell. I hope you can have her seen soon & thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
