My new cat is attacking my old cat after moving. What can I do?

Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | spayed | 6 years and 10 months old | 6 lbs

I have 2 cats I've had Lily 3years, she is spayed, Lola is less than 1 year(a rescue) not fixed yet. Lola just started stalking and attacking Lily. Both making g growling noises. Lily is hissi g. Lola beat Lily up and attacked me( Lily Ani I are abloody mess) what can I do? Lily is scared to death, I am a little too. My heart breaks for both. P.S. we moved into an old house a couple weeks ago. I have heard that moving can be traumatic and perhaps past cat smells from this old House? Iplrase help

I hate to hear this is happening. It could be related to stress or it could be hormonal as Lola is not spayed, yet. Since she can't talk and tell you why this is happening, I recommend to have Lola examined by the veterinarian and to discuss having her spayed. The doctor can also provide medications to help with anxiety. Environmental enrichment may also helps. Here is a great article about cat's instinctual needs: https://www.petcoach.co/article/why-every-cat-needs-a-place-to-climb/ Use a Feliway diffuser, set aside 30 minutes a day for vigorous play and/or switch the food to Royal Canin Calm. Most cats response best to combination therapy. I hope this helps.
