My cat had a UTI, seems fine after urinary food. Should I see a vet?

Our cat Dusk is estimated at 6 years old. We adopted him almost two years ago. He has been to the vet for a UTI in the past year and we believe he may have another one. However, he seems totally fine now after I changed his food to Urinary Tract health wet food. Should we still take him to the vet or should I feel safe that he's okay now?

Hello, sorry to hear about Dusk. If he is not having abnormal urinations (peeing outside the litter box, having bloody urinations, frequently visiting the litter box, or straining to urinate) then he may not have a UTI. However, if you strongly suspect that he may have a UTI, then it would be best if he is indeed evaluated by his veterinarian. Hope this helps and best of luck.
