My puppy has a red, irritated spot on her neck. Hot spot or ringworm?

We just got our puppy on Halloween of this past year. She’s up to date on her shots and had parasites but they’re all gone now. She has a leasion on her neck thats red and irritated about the size of a nickel. I’m not sure if it’s a hotspot from her collar or her scratching it but I’m trying to figure out what it could be before taking her to the vet. Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | spayed | 24 lbs

This area definitely looks like a possible hot spot. It certainly could be a ringworm spot if the area is crusty on the edges. If it is not crusty, then a hot spot is more likely which should resopond well to some topical antibiotic spray or cream. Best of luck with Bella moving forward. Take care. : )
