Pet's info: Dog | Multi-Colored Standard Poodle | Female | unspayed | 5 months and 21 days old
Is it a medical condition or just being a puppy when a puppy pees when excited? My puppy keeps piddling when she gets really excited. I don't know if she needs a vet visit or just more potty training.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Shera. If this is a recent change in behavior, then she needs to see her veterinarian for urine testing. If this has been the case all along and it only happens with excitement, then it is more likely behavioral. Most puppies will outgrow this behavior. However, it is always best to have her urine tested if you are concerned. I hope this information helps!

This is very normal behavior and most dogs out grow it. The best thing you can do is try to maintain a calm demeanor and try not to get Cleo super excited in an area that you don’t want to have urination. Try to keep her calm is the best thing to do. I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions.
