My dog vomits sometimes, but his food hasn't changed. Is it serious?

My dog sometimes vomits sometime and there is nothing wrong there is no change in food I do not understand?

Hello. There may be some underlying issues that may be contributing to the occasional vomiting. Thickened intestinal walls, elevated liver enzymes, a dysfunctioning small intestine, food intolerance, intestinal foreign body, the list goes on. A good physical exam is a good place to start. Blood work might be informative, & there are several tests that could be recommended. If nothing is found, an abdominal ultrasound may be diagnostic. Vomiting is not normal, even if it is occasional & intermittent. Please see your veterinarian for further diagnostic recommendations or possible treatments.
