A loose stool is not normal and can indicate many things but the most common cause would be parasites, bacterial over growth or a sudden change in diet. The coloration is a combination of any dye in the food, inflammatory factors and bacteria. A yellow color could mean an infection. I recommend to have Ruby examined by the veterinarian and be sure to bring in a stool sample for testing. Remember that pets can have worms that transmit to humans so it's important to treat any parasites. Make Sure Ruby is eating well and eating what is appropriate fro her.
