My dog had a cystotomy. Is bruising normal after bladder surgery?

Is this normal? My dog had a cystotomy on 3/30 and everything is normal I think, but noticed this.

I think your vet should check him. I do not think this is normal. This area looks bruised but there should be no bruising in that location as the incision is on the abdomen. It is possible that this is completely unrelated to the surgery.
