My dog has a red bump on her paw and won't stop licking it. What now?

Our dog has a red bump or scrape on the top of her paw. She seems to be acting ok, just licking it a lot. We tried to clean it with peroxide and wrap it but she is trying to take the bandage off. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | unspayed | 1 year old | 62 lbs

It is hard to comment too much without a picture of the red bump/scrape. If she is licking it then I would recommend an ecollar over a bandage because the bandage can harbor moisture which can lead to infections. I would recommend getting an ecollar and calling your veterinarian in the morning to see if they can fit you in.
