My dog has diarrhea after eating human food. What can I give him?

Lately, Rocky has not been eating much of his dog food, though he does eat people food. The past few days he's had diarrhea. Is there anything over the counter, or perhaps some kind of people food, that can help him with his poop?

You can try making him boiled hamburger or chicken breast, no seasonings of any kind and white rice, also with no seasoning, for a few days. If this helps, gradually transition him back to his regular dog food by mixing it 50/50 with the rice mixture a day or two, then 25/75, reducing the amount of rice mixture, then stopping feeding it after a few days. If the diarrhea doesn't resolve, gets worse, or if he starts feeling bad, take him to your vet as he could also have a bacterial or viral infection or got too much of some people food that didn't agree with him, among other things. Its best to feed him his regular dog food, only offering people food as a very occasional treat, and it's preferable to give him dog treats rather than human food.
