I gave my puppy double amoxicillin. Will he be okay after this?

I accidentally doubled my 6 month old, 11lbs dogs amoxi tab dosage. Dosage was 150mg/twice per day and he received 300mg a half hour apart. Pet's info: Dog | Cairn Terrier | Male | unneutered | 5 months and 22 days old | 11 lbs

Hello and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. It should not cause any problems to Max. Some dogs develop mild diarrhea after overdosing this antibiotics but there should not be any more serious side effects. Please, monitor Max at home and continue antibiotics as prescribed. There is no need to skip the next dose.
