Midnight is 4 a chow. Suddenly started urinating more yellow urine. No blood. We went to vet he was not able to be touched. They said no bacteria and said without examination they would not do a complete test. Why and what do you recommend

Without a full clinical exam it would be impossible for your vets, or us, to guess what may be causing the symptoms. Urine discolouration can occur for many reasons - increased concentration due to dehydration, some toxins and foods, breakdown of blood or muscle products and liver disease are all possible causes. IF signs persist or Midnight develops any additional symptoms, especially changes to thirst or appetite, vomiting or weight loss I would recommend urgent examination and blood work under sedation to determine the underlying cause and guide ongoing treatment, In the meantime try to encourage fluid intake with moist/wet food to help with urine dilution
