My senior cat is vomiting daily. What diagnostics should I ask for?

My 10yr old male Cornish rex has been vomiting at least twice a day for almost a week. It's a yellowish tan colour and has a strong odour. Blood, urine, and x-rays are clear. He's lost weight and has a complete lack of appetite. Anything he eats eventually gets thrown up. I'm worried about lack of nutrients and what else our vet should be doing to diagnose him. The only recommendation has been steroids to eliminate an unknown problem. What about ultrasounds? Pet's info: Cat | Cornish Rex | Male | neutered | 10 years and 4 months old | 9 lbs

If the result is negative, you should discuss gastroscopy (checking the stomach with a camera) with your vet. In the meantime, Quincy should be treated with anti-sickness medications. Alternatively, a feeding tube can be placed to provide nutrients.
