My picky puppy won't eat kibble. Is raw dog food healthy for growth?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Schnoodle | Male | unneutered | 5 months and 13 days old | 2 lbs

Samson hasn’t been eating his kibble. Try mixing with wet food, no like. I have put chicken in there, he picks out the chicken. Am afraid he’s not getting all the nutrients he needs. Is raw dog food healthy enough to cover all his growing body( mind, teeth, fur, eyes , bones) ? If so, wat brand is considered one of the best for a growing puppy

Hello. I do not recommend a raw diet because of the concerns about bacterial contamination. You might want to try something like Fresh Pet, or The Farmers Dog ( https://www.thefarmersdog.com ) & see how Samson does with this. Thanks for contacting PetCoach.
