My cat threw up yellow liquid after eating. Could stress or heat cause it?

hello. yesterday was a stressful day for my cat. and today she vomits with yellow liquid after she eats. not lethargic and she doensn't have diarrhea. by the way she is currently in heat. can she be sick? i'm super worried...

Hello. Vomiting is not normal. She may have intestinal parasites, or picked up a gastrointestinal infection. If the vomiting continues, you should see your veterinarian to make sure there are no underlying problems here. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
