Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 1 year and 8 months old | 115 lbs
I have a issue, recently i follows the advice of the vets on here because my Dog Bear had really really runny diarrhea nonstop all day. We fasted him for 24 hours. Now i understand if nothing was going in nothing will come out. But he’s eaten at 10:30 this morning. And he walks outside like he wants to poop but he won’t. Should I be worried or wait? He’s had his two meals today. He has a vet appointment for Thursday I need a fecal sample I’m worried he won’t poop by then

it is OK that he hasn't pooped yet. I would not be overly worried at this stage UNLESS he is posturing to poop but nothing is coming out. If he is just walking around and sniffing but not pooping that is fine. Give him a bit more time. When you fast them their GI tract slows down. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
