Puppy ate jelly beans, vomited, and has a swollen tummy. What now?

Pet's info: Dog | French Bulldog | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 24 days old | 9 lbs

Hi my 11 week old pup has ate jelly beans ( not sure how many) he vomited and now has a swollen tummy. He is otherwise fine in himself. This was around 1pm today

Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. If there was artificial sweetener in these such as Xylitol, then I would be concerned. If these are just regular jelly beans with sugar in them, then he will likely have GI upset and be fine. If he continues to vomit or becomes lethargic, then I would recommend taking him in to be seen by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate treatment recommendations can be made.
