How do I stop my cat from being active and waking me up at night?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Mediumhair | Female | spayed | 2 lbs

Our cat freya has been very active in early morning hours. I have tried very hard to curb this, she has gone from 130am to 430 am. If we ignore her she usually goes away but is back by 5 and with no mercy. If I don’t get up she doesn’t stop. I have played a lot late in the evenings, I have started to feed her right before bed. I have tried a water bottle. If we close her out she scratches at the door. Is the end is sight, what else can we try? She turns 1 In June.
